In the golden age of American academia, our universities were bastions of critical thinking, national pride, and intellectual freedom. Today? They’re little more than indoctrination centers for leftist orthodoxy, and no institution embodies this fall from grace more than Harvard University.
Once a shining example of American excellence, Harvard has morphed into a cathedral of groupthink — a breeding ground for anti-American sentiment disguised as “progressive” ideals. Its faculty votes overwhelmingly Democrat, its speakers list is a who’s who of left-wing activism, and conservative voices? Silenced, mocked, or simply not invited.
And while the average American family struggles to send their children to college, Harvard — sitting on a jaw-dropping endowment of over $50 billion — continues to waste taxpayer dollars by educating thousands of foreign students who have no intention of contributing to the American economy. In fact, according to the Institute of International Education, over 85% of international students at elite institutions like Harvard return to their home countries within five years of graduation. That’s tens of thousands of high-subsidized seats going to individuals who take their American education — funded in part by U.S. grants and benefits — and leave.
President Donald J. Trump recognized this insanity for what it was: a betrayal of the American people. In 2020, his administration moved to restrict visas for foreign students who were attending colleges offering only online classes during the COVID pandemic — a necessary step toward ending the abuse of our immigration system and academic infrastructure. The left, of course, screamed. Harvard and MIT even sued the federal government to block the measure. Why? Because they care more about their globalist prestige than about American families.
And now, in 2025, the new wave of common-sense reforms continues. The Trump administration — back in charge and delivering on its promises — has introduced tighter eligibility requirements for international student visas, especially for those enrolling in non-STEM fields or ideologically biased programs. Under the new directives, universities like Harvard will need to demonstrate how admitting foreign students directly benefits the U.S. economy and national interest before receiving federal funding or visa approvals. Additionally, taxpayer-funded grants will be tied to the percentage of American students served, finally forcing elite institutions to prioritize the citizens who fund them. Critics call it “nationalist.” We call it fair. America is no longer a scholarship program for the global elite — it’s a nation reclaiming its future.
Let’s be clear: this wasn’t about xenophobia — it was about economics and fairness. American taxpayers should not be subsidizing the education of foreign nationals at institutions that increasingly hate America and everything it stands for. Harvard receives millions in federal research grants every year, yet continues to sideline American values and promote divisive racial ideologies and far-left policies. Why are we paying them to undermine us?
It’s time we stop pretending that places like Harvard are neutral academic grounds. They are political weapons wielded by the Democratic elite. They don’t build America up — they tear it down, one woke graduate at a time.
President Trump’s America First approach reminds us what true leadership looks like: protecting our people, our values, and yes, even our tax dollars. If universities want to be international playgrounds for global elites, they can do it on their own dime — not on the backs of hardworking Americans.
